Netsis account statement reconciliation with counterparties, banks and e-invoices
The account statement, invoice list and bank movements you export from Netsis meet in one iFinances table. File upload and direct connection are both ready. We choose the route together during setup.
Lines ready for matching
Columns, signs and dates recognised; on one table with bank and e-invoice.
Whichever route you choose, the same matching engine runs.
Illustrative screen · sample data
Your Netsis account statement, the counterparty's statement, the bank statement and e-invoice data are reconciled in one table. CFOs and accounting managers see which document explains each difference in account 120 (receivables) or 320 (payables).
In Netsis a collection may come from the cash register, the bank module or a customer cheque. Tracing whether a TRY 48,250.00 transfer settled invoice FT-2026-0412 is laborious in Netsis reports alone. iFinances answers that question by matching the statements in one table. Every match carries a written reason, and the decision stays with you.
Which reports come from Netsis?
You export the Netsis reports below as Excel and load each into its iFinances template. iFinances only reads this data. It does not keep books and never creates a record in Netsis.
Customer and vendor account statement
This is the primary reconciliation source. The Netsis report Cari Hesap Ekstresi lists one account's movements. Each line shows date, document number, debit, credit and running balance. iFinances compares these lines with the counterparty's statement, so a TRY 12,480.00 difference resolves to a named invoice.
Sales and purchase invoice list
In Netsis, sales invoices, purchase invoices and delivery notes sit in the same table. A document type field separates them. The invoice list verifies the invoice lines on the statement by number and amount. Outbound and inbound invoices load into separate templates.
Payments and collections
Netsis has no single payment table. Collections and payments are tracked across cash, bank, cheque and note and account transaction records. The payment lines on the account statement are enough for iFinances. The engine settles a TRY 48,250.00 transfer by FIFO (oldest invoice first) or by invoice-specific matching.
Bank account movements
The Netsis bank module holds the transfers and EFTs posted against each bank account card. This list is compared with the bank's own statement. A collection not yet booked, or a booking with no counterpart at the bank, shows up here. You load the bank's own statement separately through a bank template.
e-Invoice envelope and document records
Netsis stores inbound and outbound e-invoice (e-Fatura) envelopes in dedicated tables. This list matches the ledger invoice to the document received through GIB (the Turkish Revenue Administration). An inbound e-invoice that never reached the ledger surfaces here. Matching uses invoice number, date and amount.
Cheques and promissory notes
Customer cheques, own cheques, customer notes and own notes live in four separate Netsis tables. iFinances has no separate template for cheques and notes. These movements are matched through the lines on the account statement. A cheque due September 30 may show on another date at the counterparty, and that line explains it.
How do you get the file from Netsis?
The file route has four steps. You save the report as Excel and upload it to iFinances. If you choose the direct route, iFinances runs these steps for you.
- 1
Select the account and the period
You open the Cari Hesap Ekstresi report in Netsis. You enter the account code you are reconciling, for example 320-00045, and the period dates. For foreign-currency accounts you also run the Dövizli Hareket Dökümü report for the same period. Its menu path is Finans / Cari / Raporlar / Ek Listeler / Dövizli Listeler.
- 2
Save the report as Excel
You pick Excel on the report toolbar instead of screen or printer. Netsis saves the file with the legacy .XLS extension. You do not need to rearrange the columns. iFinances recognizes column names from the content.
- 3
Add invoice and bank lists
You export the sales or purchase invoice list for the same period. You export the Netsis bank account movements the same way. You download the bank's own statement from internet banking. iFinances recognizes that file through a bank-specific template.
- 4
Upload to iFinances and confirm the preview
You load each file into its template. iFinances identifies the format from content, not from the extension. Legacy .xls, .xls files that are really HTML tables and hidden sheets cause no trouble. An unrecognized column is never guessed but asked about, and matching starts after you confirm.

How is the direct connection set up?
Netsis can be reached by three technical routes. iFinances supports those routes as well as file upload. We choose the route together during setup.
The first route is the NetOpenX REST service. REST, an interface through which programs exchange data over a web address, runs on your own server. The service issues a short-lived access token against a user name and password. This route needs a separate NetOpenX Rest API license.
The Netsis 3 Enterprise package includes as many NetOpenX users as ERP users. Standard and Entegre editions usually need an additional license. The second route is the NetOpenX COM interface, which does the same job on the desktop. The third route is a read-only user on your SQL Server database.
For the direct connection iFinances uses the NetOpenX REST service or the read-only database user. The server address, license and permissions come from your own Netsis installation. iFinances only reads and never writes a record into Netsis. There is no public cloud address, so access is settled separately for each customer.
Things to watch
Invoices and delivery notes share tables
In Netsis, invoices and delivery notes share the same header table. If you build the invoice list from the database or a custom report, apply the document type filter. Otherwise a TRY 15,600.00 delivery note looks like an open item with no counterpart on the account statement.
Payments live in several places
The account statement gathers cash, bank and cheque collections into one list by transaction type. If you also load separate cash and bank lists into the payments template, the same collection appears twice. Choose one source. iFinances flags duplicates but never deletes them.
Year-based periods
Netsis records carry a year code, and the year-end rollover creates an opening balance. If the reconciliation runs from 2025 into 2026, export the statement for each year. Check that the opening line is not counted twice. An opening balance is not tied to an invoice, so it can look like an unexplained difference.
The report module's .XLS output
When you choose Excel, the Netsis report module saves the file with the legacy .XLS extension. iFinances identifies the file from its content, so this causes no problem. In some outputs the header row sits below the report banner. In that case confirm the column mapping in the preview.
Foreign-currency accounts and reversed balances
Exchange differences on foreign-currency accounts have no counterpart because the lira statement and Dövizli Hareket Dökümü are separate. iFinances matches a EUR 10,000.00 invoice against a lira transfer at the TCMB (Central Bank of Türkiye) rate. The Netsis report Ters Bakiyeli Hesap Kontrolü lists accounts 120 and 320 with a reversed balance. Review them first, since an advance, a return or a wrong-account posting look alike.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, the connection is ready and there are two routes. You upload the Excel reports taken from Netsis. Or iFinances connects directly through the NetOpenX REST service or a read-only database user. We choose the route together during setup, based on what is open in your installation.
Upload the .XLS file the report module produces as it is. Files saved as xlsx, CSV or HTML tables are recognized too. You do not need to rename columns or flip the debit-credit sign. iFinances reads them from the content and asks about anything it cannot identify.
The counterparty's software does not matter. iFinances sends them a secure link. They upload their own statement as Excel, with no account to create. The two statements are matched line by line in one table.
No. iFinances does not keep books, does not write to Netsis and never closes a line on its own. Every match proposal comes with a written reason. Accepting, correcting and posting into Netsis remain decisions for your team.
From Netsis, the account statement and the invoice list are enough. Add the internet banking statement and the inbound and outbound e-invoice document list. All three are matched in one table. Items missing at the bank, missing in the ledger or never booked from e-invoices appear in separate lists.
