iFinances was born on a real closing night, at a real finance team's desk. Excel sheets kept growing, bank descriptions didn't match customer names, someone was hunting the CBRT (Central Bank of Türkiye) rate for a EUR invoice, and the customer statement was being checked against the ledger.
These problems had been around for years — and were still being tackled in Excel. "There should be software for this," we said. So we turned Turkish tax regulation, GİB e-invoice rules, the official CBRT rate, bank description formats and accountants' workflows into code.
