  • Every bank, a different layout

Some split debit and credit into two columns, others use one signed column. Date formats and sort order change from bank to bank.

  • Currency accounts live apart

Lira, dollar and euro accounts sit on different screens. A separate spreadsheet exists just to see the total.

  • Manual merging breeds errors

The same transaction gets copied twice, or one goes missing. The gap surfaces at month-end, in reconciliation.

Process

Connect. iFinances does the rest.

Transactions arrive the way the bank exports them; iFinances puts them in one language, removes repeats and works out who they belong to.

Two ways in

Whatever your bank, there is a way in.

Direct connection first: if your bank offers a corporate channel, transactions arrive on their own. If not, an Excel statement brings them to the same screen. Use both and a transaction is still written once.

1If your bank offers it

Direct connection

If your bank has a corporate web service or electronic statement channel, you give the instruction to your bank and enter the access details in iFinances once. From then on it runs by itself.

  • Transactions arrive on their own through the day
  • The connection only reads; it carries no payment or transfer rights
  • Switch it off whenever you like
2Every bank

Excel statement

For a bank without a corporate channel, upload the account statement you download from online banking. The generic statement template does not care which bank it is.

  • No set-up needed
  • Upload the same file twice and only new rows land
  • Past periods can be uploaded too

Your online banking password is never asked for, on either path.

Banks

Wherever the account is, the transactions are here.

These are the banks we meet most often. The list does not end here: if your bank offers a corporate channel it connects directly; if not, its Excel statement lands on the same screen.

These banks connect directly too where the bank offers a corporate channel; otherwise transactions arrive by Excel statement.

Bank names belong to their respective owners and are listed only to indicate which banks’ transactions you can view; they do not imply the bank’s approval or support.

Boundaries

It reads. It never sends money.

Bank View is a viewing screen. Your relationship with your bank, and your authority over it, stay with you.

Your bank
Transactions and balances are read
No payments, transfers or changes
iFinances
  • Read-only

iFinances does not initiate payments, make transfers or change anything at your bank. It reads transactions and balances, nothing more.

  • You hold the authority

For a direct connection you instruct your bank and enter the access details; you also upload any Excel file yourself. Switch the connection off whenever you like.

  • Access details encrypted

The access details you enter are stored encrypted and never shown on screen again. Your online banking password is not asked for.

  • KVKK and your data

Your data stays in your isolated workspace and is never passed to third-party models or AI training sets.

Who it helps

One screen, three different mornings.

  • Finance director

    Cash position at a glance

Money in and out across every bank, totalled separately per currency, in front of you.

  • Accounting

    Bank data ready for reconciliation

Transactions arrive matched to their company; bank reconciliation and payment matching start from the same data.

  • Treasury

    Currency accounts in one list

Dollar and euro accounts sit next to lira accounts; what is left at which bank is one filter away.

FAQ

Bank View: frequently asked questions

If your bank offers a corporate web service or electronic statement channel, it connects directly; that depends on the channel the bank offers its customer. Any bank without such a channel still lands on the same screen by Excel statement; the generic statement template does not care which bank it is.

No. Bank View only reads. It does not initiate payments, make transfers or change any record at your bank. iFinances is not a bank or a payment institution; it is finance software.

Your online banking password is never asked for. For a direct connection you enter the web service access details your bank assigns to you yourself; they are stored encrypted. On the Excel path you only upload a file.

No. Re-upload the same file and only new rows are added. A transaction that came by Excel and arrives again through a connection is not written a second time.

Each transaction stays in its own currency. Totals for money in and out are kept separate per currency; the screen does not convert on its own.

It uses the tax number in the description, the counterparty IBAN and the name trail. Matches it is not sure about are offered as suggestions; you approve them.
